Anchor Point Harbour Kit

The idea behind the Anchor Point is for a cost-effective base system with an ultra-low cost per pallet.

The Anchor Point base is a pneumatic quick-release system for quickly changing pallets in a CNC machine, allowing for shorter stops between cycles and easy changeovers.

The base for linking the anchor point bases needs to be manufactured by the purchaser. Files are available on the website here and via the free cad pack on the store

We recommend using two mooring bases on the table to create the harbour setup

What kind of work is the anchor point suited to?

• Parts that can be bolted in from the back
• As well as making the anchor point bodies
• Currently, about half of the anchor point components are made on a production version of the Anchor Point, and that number will get higher as we ramp up production.

What's in the box?

• 4 Anchor point base units
• 4 blank pallets 4x4 inch (Including Hardware)
• 2 Pneumatics kit (¼ and ⅛ straight as well as a 1/8th slide valve and 1/8 elbow at the base. We also threw in 5m of 6mm tube)

Mounting options -

• Toe clamps for m12 t-slot and also for 1/2 inch bolts to suit SMW fixture plates
• 8mm thru holes for bolting to the upcoming mooring point and harbor bases (or your own bases)
• 96mm Lang/RockLock mounting holes for use as a cost effective pallet system on your expensive quick-change system

Expandability -

The Anchor Point is the base of our modular work-holding system that is in development. The first of these is the mooring point. This base allows two anchor points to be mounted to a base with a set distance between them, allowing the spanning of units to increase rigidity and making it possible to hold larger pallets. The harbor is also in development and will have 4 anchor point units, allowing much larger pallets to be held

Blank pallets -

We are offering blank pallets with the required hardware and features machined in for just $28 per pallet (+ shipping). These pallets are 102 x 102 x 29mm or 4 inch x 4 inch x 1.15 inch

We also offer pull studs for using 20mm or ¾ inch plates to make pallets.

The system uses standard BT30 45deg pull studs available from many suppliers. The locating holes are machined directly into the aluminum pallet. If the pallet is intended to be used in a high-production environment, drill bushes can be inserted to prevent wear.
