DESIGN
Machined from billet stock the FLUK is a one-piece design with a magnet pressed and secured into the body. The magnet is used as part of the blade locking mechanism but is positioned to allow the FLUK to be easily stowed on any ferrous metals.

The FLUK is also toolless. If you ever find yourself needing to ditch the blade (at the airport) it's as easy as extending the blade and pulling it out once you pass the second lock.
The uses for the FLUK are unlimited. From opening boxes to stripping wires the only limit is your imagination. When The blade gets blunt flip it around and you can use the other half and when that's done throw it out and put a new blade in. The FLUK is designed to work with any steel Stanley knife blade that meets the Stanley specifications.
When the blade has locked the body of the knife is parallel to the blade allowing you to make perpendicular cuts against a straight edge. The blade also locks in two positions allowing you two blade length options.

Once it is in the lock position does not slip or shift.

Aluminium, Brass, and Titanium

The aluminium is available in raw or anodized in one of 6 different colours:

Rugged and tested design
We designed the FLUK to be simple, compact and ultra-light.
Aluminium - 13 grams
Brass - 28 grams
Titanium - 17 grams

We moved through the prototyping phase with the help of 3d printing. We then moved to raw aluminium prototypes. We were onto version 9 before any units were beta-tested but from that feedback, we made many small improvements and are happy with the current version of the FLUK.
